Sunday, more, yes there’s more….

It was a rainy Sunday morning. I was so tired this morning, after the dance last night, that I stayed home. I was able to consider some things before drifting to sleep. I find my heart moved to not be silent, but how can you be different from the usual? I mean how can you declare your faith in this nation without hesitation? Also, I desire a relationship with my creator not based upon standards set by those that want to limit God. God is bigger than any problem, so I want to be dependent upon God alone. It’s so cool how God convicts you to move. In 1 Peter it says: Therefore, with your minds ready for action. That means that you are not to just sit there and do nothing. It also says: By obedience to the truth, having purified yourselves for sincere love of the brothers, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again —not of perishable seed but of imperishable—through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like a flower of the grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.[ 1 Peter 1:22-25 (HCSB) I want to love with a pure heart, rememeber: Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:7-12 (HCSB) and: Love must be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. 10 Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not lack diligence; be fervent in spirit; serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. 13 Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. 16 Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Try to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes. 18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone. 19 Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for His wrath. For it is written: Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay, says the Lord. 20 But If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink. For in so doing you will be heaping fiery coals on his head. 21 Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good. Romans 12:9-21 (HCSB) I don’t know everything, but I do know that if it is in the Bible that it is there for a reason. I want to love but sometimes when you see things that need to be changed it is in love that we should come alongside those that need this change. I know that I need to make some changes, more changes, in my life. Remember that when God convicts you of something you should listen..
