Monday Morning…

Today is Monday. I usually go to Green Hill Baptist Church and work in the pantry, but that’s not where I should be. I am keeping the persons that should be there from doing what they need to do. I am NOT gifted in that area. It’s freeing to just do what you are suppose to be doing and not doing something just because no one else is doing it. I did not go to Trinity Baptist Church this weekend because I was so tired and because of the rain. This coming weekend I do plan on going there. Saturday is the Filmmaking seminar on marketing your projects, so I will have no problem going to bed early Saturday night. I am not going to walk in the rain unless I absolutely have to, I do not want to get sick. I might end up at Columbia After Dark tonight, but I am not certain yet if I will or not. I need to get back to writing. I just need to schedule so much time each week to go to the library and write. I need to be more serious with it. I also need to start looking for ways to finance my projects. I mean I am a filmmaker, so I need to focus on that. If you are not where you should be, then get up and go there. I do not want to confine God to a box, a building, or anything that limits God. Eternal life: I know that I am a sinner and I know that the only thing that has brought me redemption is Christ Jesus who died on the cross in my place. Christ died so that I may have eternal life. God so loved the WORLD that he sent His only Son to die on the cross so that whosoever believes shall have everlasting life. Scripture: 21 But now, apart from the law, God’s righteousness has been revealed —attested by the Law and the Prophets 22 —that is, God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe, since there is no distinction. 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. 24 They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed. 26 ⌊God presented Him⌋ to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26 (HCSB) Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned. 13 In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression. He is a prototype of the Coming One. 15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift overflowed to the many by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ. 16 And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification. 17 Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. 18 So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification for everyone. 19 For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. 20 The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12-21 (HCSB)
